Did you know that the Apache web server’s default configuration will allow older protocols and ciphers for SSL connections? Unless you need to support older browsers these can be removed. Also, there are several configuration changes that can be made to improve the security rating of your SSL. If you choose this configuration option, our technicians will do the following to maximize your SSL score, as reported by Qualsys ® SSL Labs.
  • Limit SSL/TLS protocols to latest, safest versions
  • Remove older Ciphers considered to be less safe
  • Update the web server configuration to disable TRACK and TRACE, which prevents outside inspection of web server details
