eMail Services
Due to the massive abuse of eMail services, most large service providers have taken steps to filter out disreputable senders. Unfortunately, these filters often block legitimate eMail. However, eApps offers an excellent service to improve the reputation of your domain as a valid sender of eMail. Although there is no guarantee that steps taken on the sender side will ensure that eMail is accepted, our experience is that this service will significantly enhance the reputation of your domain and IP address as an eMail sender and minimize eMail rejection issues.
For this service, we will perform the following for your eMail domain:
- Configure DKIM - DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) is a digital signature attached to each sent message, verifying that the message originated from the sender’s domain. The configuration is done in your ISPmanager, cPanel, or Plesk control panel for your domain.
- Configure SPF - Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a an eMail validation system designed to prevent eMail spoofing by providing a means to verify that the messages were sent from a computer that is authorized to send messages for the domain. An SPF record is created for your DNS for this purpose.
- Configure rDNS - Reverse DNS allows the recipient to confirm what domain name is associated with the IP address of the computer that sent the message. A PTR record will be created in your DNS for this purpose.
- Configure Sender ID - This configuration is similar to SPF, and is used by AOL and a few other large service providers. A Sender ID record is created for your DNS for this purpose.
Notes:
The one time fee for this service is priced on a per domain basis.
This service will improve the reputation of the domain and the IP address of your eMail service, increasing the probability that eMail from the domain will be accepted by eMail providers. However, each provider has it’s own filtering system and policies. This service does not guarantee acceptance of your eMails by providers.
This service is valid only for eApps provided eMail services.
